'Iconography' is a collection of pieces that looks into the power of the iconic image and the 'Icon' in popular culture. Each piece focuses on a different 'Idol' taken from the film industry, fashion and religion. The images are instantly recognizable and it is this recognition that draws in the attention of the viewer. 'Iconography' explores the unconscious fascination with the familiar and mainstream.



​Most pieces are produced from silver duct tape whilst others are composed of layers of brown parcel tape creating a multiple shade effect. Two of the pieces were constructed directly onto the wall transforming them into murals.
